Wise Business helps companies send, receive, hold and spend money internationally with lower costs, faster transfers and greater transparency.
We are hiring a Sales Team Manager to build and lead our first São Paulo-based Wise Business sales team. You will manage a team of six Account Executives serving high-volume North American demand, primarily from smaller and more repeatable SMB opportunities.
This is a hands-on frontline management role. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching and developing the team, while owning performance across the full sales journey — from initial lead qualification through signup, verification, activation and revenue.
You will not carry a full personal sales quota. Your success will be measured by the performance, development and consistency of your team.
What you’ll do
Recruit, onboard and develop a team of six Account Executives.
Run regular one-to-ones, pipeline reviews, forecast reviews and call-coaching sessions.
Set clear expectations and create a culture of ownership, feedback and high performance.
Coach the team to qualify leads effectively, understand customer needs and build strong commercial cases for Wise Business.
Own team performance across lead conversion, opportunity progression, activation and revenue.
Monitor lead distribution and workloads, ensuring the team focuses on the highest-value opportunities.
Maintain strong forecasting, Salesforce hygiene and pipeline discipline.
Work closely with Sales Enablement, RevOps, Recruiting, KYC, Product, Marketing and Operations.
Identify recurring customer, product or process issues and communicate them clearly to the relevant teams.
Adapt central sales processes and metrics to what works best for the São Paulo team and North American customers.
About the team
You will initially report into the central Wise Business Sales leadership team and work closely with colleagues across São Paulo, Austin, London and Tallinn.
The São Paulo team will focus on high-volume North American opportunities. Larger or more complex businesses will generally be supported by the Austin team.
The central Wise Business function will provide the core sales process, performance metrics, CRM standards, onboarding programme and commercial methodology. You will have the autonomy to adapt local coaching and execution tactics while maintaining those
