Payroll Supervisor, Sumaré/SP
Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

In the Payroll Supervisor position, you will play a key role in managing payroll and personnel administration processes for all 3M locations in Brazil. You will be responsible for leading the Payroll team, ensuring compliance with labor and social security obligations, and making sure routines are carried out in accordance with current legislation and 3M’s internal guidelines.

• Guide the operational routine of the Payroll area, ensuring accuracy, deadlines, and compliance.
• Manage the payroll operation with ADP, monitoring deliverables, service quality, and contractual compliance.
• Implement improvements and simplifications in processes while maintaining the proper execution ofroutines and controls.
• Participate in local, regional, and/or global projects related to Payroll and Personnel Administration.
• Provide functional leadership to the payroll team, coordinate cross‑functional efforts with Accounting, Tax, HR Ops, GSC, Medical Service and external auditors, and ensures compliance with SOX requirements, Collective Agreements, and local legislation.

Your Skills and Expertise

• To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
• Completed higher education degree
• Relevant working experience in a payroll organization
• Previous experience in payroll, including team management, employee support, inspections and audits,strong knowledge of labor legislation, and eSocial
• Experience with SOX controls and audit/compliance processes related to payroll
• Solid expertise in labor and tax legislation, social contributions, severance calculations and regulatory compliance
• Advanced English
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• Knowledge of payroll accounting and accounting reconciliation concepts
• Spanish skills are desirable
• Experience with ADP

Work location:

• This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M office in Sumaré/SP.
