About the Opportunity
Develops and implements AI solutions by adapting and optimizing existing models to solve complex problems, leveraging techniques such as harness engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent development, and fine-tuning. Contributes to the design and architecture of AI systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), harness engineering, RAG, agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, Llama
- Index), and fine-tuning techniques.
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing systems, including APIs and ETL processes.
- Develop and maintain APIs for accessing and managing data and AI models.
- Monitor and optimize ETL pipelines and AI infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement observability practices for AI systems in production (logging, tracing, latency, and cost monitoring).
- Design and run evaluation processes for LLM outputs (quality metrics, hallucination detection, benchmarking).
- Apply AI security and governance best practices, including guardrails and mitigation of risks such as prompt injection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI application opportunities, build proofs of concept, and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Document the development, implementation, and maintenance of AI solutions.
- Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Strong programming experience (Python is required) and familiarity with other relevant programming languages.
- Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Proven experience with LLMs, harness engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning.
- Experience with vector databases and embeddings (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, FAISS).
- Experience developing and maintaining APIs.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and technologies.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensor
- Flow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data processing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Experience with version control (Git) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice to haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices for AI/ML (MLOps).
- Experience with LLM evaluation/benchmarking tools (e.g., LangSmith, Ragas, promptfoo).
- Contributions to open-source projects or publications in the AI field.
