This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de Testes Pleno based in Brazil.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of software solutions that support public and private sector organizations across Brazil. You will plan, design, execute, and automate tests to validate requirements, identify defects, and ensure that new features perform as expected. Working closely with developers and cross-functional teams in an agile environment, you will help prevent regressions and continuously improve software quality. You will also monitor testing metrics, communicate findings to stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to guide quality improvements. Beyond hands-on testing, you will contribute to automation strategies, share knowledge, and mentor junior QA professionals. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented quality assurance specialist who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering technology with meaningful real-world impact.
Accountabilities

Requirements analysis and test planning: Participate in planning and refinement meetings, clarify functional and technical requirements, identify potential risks, and define comprehensive test scenarios aligned with project objectives.

Test case design and documentation: Plan, document, and maintain test cases using appropriate testing techniques and agile practices to ensure requirements are clearly understood, traceable, and properly validated.

Manual and exploratory testing: Execute functional, non-functional, exploratory, and regression tests according to established test plans, recording results and documenting findings in the relevant task management tools.

Defect identification and resolution: Investigate, report, and prioritize software defects in collaboration with development teams, validate fixes, and ensure that corrections do not introduce unintended side effects.

Test automation: Lead the automation of repetitive and regression tests by identifying high-value automation opportunities and developing automated test scripts that reduce manual effort and improve testing efficiency.

API and application validation: Test APIs and application functionality to verify that system components behave as expected and meet defined functional and technical requirements.

Quality metrics and performance monitoring: Track and analyze testing metrics and software quality indicators using monitoring tools and dashboards, identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Reporting and stakeholder communication: Prepare and present test reports that summarize execution results, defect trends, quality indicators, and recommendations to support informed technical and business decisions.

Collaboration and continuous improvement: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to improve testing processes, strengthen quality standards, and introduce tools and practices that enhance software reliability.

Knowledge sharing and internal training: Develop and deliver internal training sessions, organize learning materials, and communicate testing best practices to relevant teams.

Mentoring junior analysts: Support the professional development of junior QA team members through guidance, mentoring, and training, promoting consistent testing standards and a collaborative learning culture.

Testing innovation: Stay informed about emerging testing technologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance methodologies, recommending improvements to the team's tools and processes.

Requirements

Professional experience: Approximately two years of experience in software testing or quality assurance is desirable, with practical experience designing and executing test cases.

Education: Bachelor's degree or technology degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field.

Testing methodologies: Knowledge of exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing, including black-box and white-box testing techniques.

Requirements analysis: Ability to analyze requirements, identify test conditions, define acceptance criteria, and develop structured, traceable test scenarios.

API testing: Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools, including the ability to validate endpoints, requests, responses, and expected application behavior.

Automation frameworks: Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber, with the ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts.

Behavior-driven development: Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and techniques for translating requirements into clear, testable scenarios.

Performance testing: Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools such as JMeter to evaluate application behavior under different workloads.

Technical skills: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), and Git.

Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban practices, including participation in sprint planning, refinement, and collaborative development workflows.

Defect management: Ability to document defects clearly, investigate unexpected behavior, validate corrections, and collaborate effectively with developers to resolve issues.

Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong attention to detail, logical reasoning, and the ability to identify inconsistencies, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions.

Communication and collaboration: Ability to present testing results clearly, document findings accurately, and work constructively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mentoring and knowledge sharing: Willingness to support junior team members, share technical knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

English proficiency: Basic English skills for understanding technical documentation and terminology.

Remote work readiness: Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, manage priorities independently, and collaborate with a distributed team.
